CCCAM is pleased to announce the Coach of the Year, Sherri Taormina from St. Clair Shores Lake Shore!
Sherri recently completed her 14th year coaching at Lake Shore and her 22nd year of coaching overall. She has served on the CCCAM Board for the last 4 years as the Region 6 Representative and the Academic All State Chair.
Some of Sherri’s team accomplishments include: 11x All-State Academic Team Honorable Mention, 5x MAC Conference Champions, 2x District Champions, and 9x Regional Qualifiers. In addition to the 2025 Coach of the Year, Sherri has been selected as a MAC Conference Coach of the Year in 2009, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2023, & 2025, District Coach of the Year in 2016, 2018, 2020, 2024, & 2025, and Regional Coach of the Year in 2025.
Outside of cheer, Sherri is a wife and proud mother of two children. She is also a mathematics and health teacher at Lake Shore.
